| How to get to the Wollondilly Region by Road. |
| From Sydney (heading south). Join the M5 Motorway at King George's Road, Beverley Hills, or at Liverpool. Head south towards Campbelltown/Goulburn/Canberra. From the M5, then the F5 Freeway, to the Wollondilly is about 40 minutes drive. Enter the Wollondilly (all turns left) at:

| From Sydney (heading west). Join the M4 Motorway and head west towards Penrith and the Blue Mountains. Near Penrith, take the second exit (Penrith and Wallacia) - bypassing Penrith - and turn left at Mulgoa Road, following the signs to Wallacia. At Wallacia town centre turn right into Silverdale Road and follow the signs towards Warragamba - country road - (this is the quickest route to Warragamba Dam and Recreation area). To access other areas of the Wollondilly turn left to Silverdale just before Warragamba, then on to The Oaks. At The Oaks turn right to Burragorang Road for Oakdale and Nattai (Burragorang Lookout), or go straight ahead through the village towards Mowbray Park. At Mowbray Park turn left into Barkers Lodge Road for Picton, Tahmoor and north; or right for 50 metres, then left into Mowbray Park Road and follow the signs to Thirlmere and north to villages on the loop line towards Mittagong.

From Canberra and southwestern NSW.
Head north out of Canberra to join the South Western Freeway (F5) near Goulburn towards Sydney. From Victoria, western, and southwestern NSW head towards Sydney, past Goulburn on the Freeway.

Take the freeway north from Wollongong towards Sydney.
