CITY SUBURBAN SERVICES & SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS LINE

The railway stations of the Wollondilly region.

CityRail Timetable here	There are regular train services, almost hourly during the day, between Sydney (links to suburban services), the Wollondilly, the Highlands, and Goulburn (although some terminate at Moss Vale or Bundanoon). Trains from Sydney leave from Sydney Central (suburban platforms); some services commence or terminate at Campbelltown. Check timetables for connections to and from various suburban services. Although there are regular bus services throughout the Wollondilly, it is possible to travel between the towns listed on the map above by rail (approx. every hour during the day). However, smaller stations are unattended and you must purchase your ticket at the vending machines on the station, or at your destination. COUNTRY & INTERSTATE SERVICES
CountryLink Timetable here	There are several trains a day between Sydney and Canberra, and Sydney to Melbourne. There is also a weekly service to western NSW and Griffith. Bookings are essential on these services. No trains stop in the Wollondilly. To catch a country or interstate service you must go to either Campbelltown, or Moss Vale, then change. THIRLMERE RAILWAY MUSEUM In conjunction with the NSW Rail Transport Museum's display at Thirlmere, there are regular train rides from Thirlmere to Picton on the old Loop Line every Sunday, most public holidays plus Wednesday in school holidays. (Steam trains 1st & 3rd Sundays only, diesel 3rd & 4th Sundays March until end November). Trains leave Thirlmere 10.45am, 12.15pm, 2.15pm as indicated. For more information phone: (02) 4681 8001
