Work has been completed on Stage 1 of the museum upgrade at the Thirlmere Rail Heritage Centre; Stage 2 commenced in November 2009. See their website for latest developments.

Please note that access to some of the viewing areas at the Rail Heritage Centre may be restricted at times during rebuilding this month. See the website or contact them for more information.
